Music Director, “BRIJ JOSHI”, residing at ANAND, Gujarat, India was born on 9 Oct 1960 at Lakhtar District Surendranagar of Gujarat.
He is pride of Charotar/Gujarat & has made the famous Milk City or Milk Capitol of India or White revolution City “Anand” more popular among music lovers by achieving incredible fame in the field of Music.
“BRIJ JOSHI” is son of Father Indrakant Joshi ( Retired Professor BVM Engineering College Vallbh Vidyanagar, Gujarat) & Mother Dharmisthaben.
Since childhood “BRIJ JOSHI” was very much inclined to Music & determined to build his career in Music industry hence since his young age he started learning Indian classical Music – Vocal, Violin, Harmonium from His Guru Shri Laxmiprasadji at D N High school, Anand where “BRIJ JOSHI” completed his school education from KG to Higher Secondary [Std XII].
Anyone is certainly amazed to know that “BRIJ JOSHI”, the eminent Music Director is Mechanical Engineer by qualification [ B.E.(Mechanical) ] from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Guajarat, India. After passing his B.E. he shifted to Mumbai to learn Music from eminent Music Director & son of Kalyanji ( Anandji) Shri Viju Shah. He also served as Lecturer in Mechanical Engg Department of Bhagubhai Polytechnic at Mumbai during those time upto 1985 & thereafter he worked as Lecturer in Mechanical Engg Department of B & B Polytechnic at Vallabh Vidyanagar.
But his enthusiasm, passion & determination made him to quit this job & he has committed himself entirely to Music Profession as Music Director & Live performer under the banner “Brij Joshi & Party”. And he has been successfully performing with his troupe in countries like UK, USA, Canada...... Brij Joshi & Party is group of versatile Musicians & Singers performing all varieties of Musical shows like Bollywood Songs (Oldies & latest) with unique representation, Raas-Garba their speciality, Bhakti Sangeet with many different varieties and moods ......
While continuing his live performances, He has scored music for about 400+ various albums along with 15 + Gujarati Movies...... His inclinations and love for Indian music and Indian ethnic instruments are focused into his music score but he also continuously studies & implies modern music technology as well as instruments while creating the computerised music.
Based on International achievements, Awards, Media Coverage, Articles about him in various national as well as International print media, commercial success at International Level and his original contribution in the field of music, Brij Joshi has been approved a Green Card (Lawful Permanent Residence) by the Government of United States of America in April 2021.
